Dr. Smith graduated from The University of Michigan Medical School & The Allergy & Immunology Program at The University of Michigan Hospital. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Allergy & Immunology; a conjoined Board of Internal Medicine & The American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Smith has served as President of the Michigan Allergy and Asthma Society, and as President of the Medical Staff of St. Luke's Hospital, Saginaw, Michigan, now known as Covenant HealthCare System.

Michael T. McAvoy M.D.

Dr. Michael T. McAvoy, M.D., graduated from Hillsdale College and Wayne State University School of Medicine. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. He completed his Fellowship in Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. McAvoy is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology; a conjoint Board of Internal Medicine and The American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. McAvoy is currently serving on the board of the Michigan Allergy and Asthma Society.
